Write a compare/contrast paper disscussing twp versions of Cinderella.

Use a tri-fold board to retell three stories of Cinderella.

Write a modern day myth explaining an element of nature or human behavior.

Write a modern day Cinderella story using the required elements of the Cinderella pattern.

Choose a version of Cinderella from one of the countries in Asia, Africa, South America, or choose a myth from one of these countries instead. Create a childrens book to tell this story.

Create a scrapbook for the Cinderella version "Ashpet".

Participate in E-Pals International's "Cinderella project." You will communicate with an international student or students and complete activities one and two.

~REQUIRD ACTIVITIES~

Independently read notes for Oral traditions and highlight important terms.

Define: Legends, Tall Tale, Trickster, Tales, Myths, Fairytales, Fables, Folktales, and Aesop.

2-Day activity with Ms. Lentz in  the Media Center.

Complete "Creation Packet"

Read one each: Legend, Myth, Fairytale, Fable, & Folktale & complete the quiestion for each story.
